Our teak garden benches are delivered flat-packed for easy assembly at home and come with all the necessary fittings you need to get started. All you’ll need is a few common tools you may already have around the house, and depending on your level of experience, you can have your bench ready in as little as 20 – 45 minutes.
Easy DIY Assembly
Each bench is supplied with an instructional diagram so you can start putting your bench together straightaway. However, if you need a little extra assistance, we also offer a downloadable assembly guide full of useful troubleshooting tips to help you get the best result. All of the fixtures and fittings needed for DIY assembly will be included with your bench, but in the event any screws or bolts are missing, our Sales team will be more than happy to arrange a replacement.
The robust, tight-fitting mortise and tenon joints used in our teak benches mean that sometimes they need a bit more care and attention to position them flush with the other pieces. A G-clamp can help to hold parts of your bench in place whilst you connect the other sides and will ensure the pieces are as level as possible. To prevent any unsightly marks or dents on your lovely new teak bench, it’s a good idea to use two pieces of scrap wood to act as a buffer between the bench and the metal clamp. We recommend having an extra person on hand to assist if you’ve purchased a larger bench.
Ground Anchors for Extra Security
As part of our range, we offer various ground anchor kits to give your bench additional security outside. We stock anchors for soft earth, paving slabs and concrete, so you can easily find the best fit for your garden, no matter the ground type. Each ground anchor kit is designed for hassle-free DIY installation and comes with all fittings included. You’ll need some tools to hand before you get started, but once you’re ready, just follow the step-by-step instructions provided.
