Earth Anchors Ground Anchor Kits provide a quick and easy way to secure your garden bench, keeping it in a fixed position and discouraging vandals. Perfect for concrete-free, permanent positioning throughout the year, Ground Anchor Kits can be installed DIY with minimal skill required.
All our Ground Anchor Kits come with security screws. Unlike normal screws, which can be tightened and untightened, security screws can only be tightened. This means you’ll have to be exact when installing the anchor kit to your bench, as the screws aren’t designed to be worked loose. Once fitted however, your garden bench is securely in position and can't be unscrewed.
This version of the Ground Anchor Kit is suitable for use on concrete, providing a stable sitting platform on a patio or any other concrete surface.
Ground Anchor Kits can be installed with minimal DIY skill and all you need is a screwdriver, masonry drill, and hammer. The necessary fittings are provided along with tamperproof security screws for added protection.
Security screws only tighten one way and cannot be unscrewed. Because of this, when attaching the brackets to your garden bench, we recommend using regular screws first to create pilot holes for the security screws. Once the pilot holes have been made, use the security screws to secure the brackets to the legs of your garden bench and insert the anchors through these brackets. Then, drill into the concrete, check the position of your bench, and then screw the anchors into the concrete to secure the bench in place. To avoid misalignment, it's always best to attach the brackets to your bench before drilling holes in the floor.
