Permanently position your garden bench on a pavement or paved area with the Earth Anchors Ground Anchor Kit for Paving Slabs. Completely concrete free and suitable for DIY installation, Ground Anchor Kits provide a quick and easy way to secure your garden bench – discouraging vandals and thieves from tampering with it.

All our Ground Anchor Kits come with security screws. Unlike normal screws, which can be tightened and untightened, security screws can only be tightened. This means you’ll have to be exact when installing the anchor kit to your bench, as the screws aren’t designed to be worked loose. Once fitted however, your garden bench is securely in position and can't be unscrewed.

This version of the Ground Anchor Kit for Paving Slabs also comes with additonal security fixings. Security fixings make it very difficult for your bench to be repositioned or stolen. The fixing itself is a friction fit, alloy-based metal cap that covers the top of the bolts that secure your bench. Once covered, the bolts can’t be undone without being destroyed. It’s worth making sure that you’re 100% certain about the position of your garden bench before attaching these fixings or else you’ll need to break them off and purchase new ones for a vandal-proof fitting.

This Ground Anchor Kit is suitable for use on paving slabs, providing a stable sitting platform on a pavement or paved surface.

Ground Anchor Kits can be installed with minimal DIY skill. All you need is a screwdriver, masonry drill, and hammer. The necessary fittings are provided along with tamperproof security screws for added protection. Security screws only tighten one way and cannot be unscrewed. Because of this, when attaching the brackets to your garden bench, we recommend using regular screws first to create pilot holes for the security screws. Once the pilot holes have been made, use the security screws to secure the brackets to the legs of your garden bench and insert the anchors through these brackets. Drill into the paving slab, check the position of your bench, plug the holes with the provided Rawlplugs, and then screw the anchors into the slab to secure your garden bench in place. To avoid misalignment, it's always best to attach the brackets to your bench before drilling holes in the floor.

This version of the Ground Anchor Kit for Paving Slabs also comes with security fixings as an extra defence against vandals and thieves. For vandal-proof positioning, attach the security fixings over the top of the bolt heads with a hammer. These fixings cannot be removed without breaking, so it’s important to ensure you’re happy with the position of your garden bench before attaching them. Once attached, your garden bench cannot be tampered with, moved, or stolen.
